Offsetting your annual vehicle carbon emissions may not be as expensive as you think. You can offset a small car for as little as AU$80, a medium size car for Au$150 and a larger vehicle for Au$140.

The calculation for the greenhouse emissions for a large car is based on 15,000 km a year of travel. Government published figures are used to convert fuel usage to CO2 emissions. The average carbon emission for a large car is 7.5 tonnes.
