The calculation for the greenhouse emissions for a large car is based on 15,000 km a year of travel. Government published figures are used to convert fuel usage to CO2 emissions. The average carbon emission for a large car is 7.5 tonnes.

These DIY Handytanks not only look cool, but they're cheap too.
